Project Summary
The ♥Beat Project team plans to combine technology with effective program elements to enhance human interaction and maximize learning opportunities to supply pregnant and parenting teens with the resources, information, and support they need. The ♥Beat Project consists of three main components that will facilitate conversation between a local healthcare provider and the teen mother/father around local resources they can access; provide a mobile platform where pregnant and parenting teens can get on-demand information on various health issues relevant to their needs, and a creation of a virtual community that will link pregnant and parenting teens across the nation. Through this engaging and interactive program, The ♥Beat Project aims to reduce subsequent births.
The ♥Beat Project combines the elements of effective programs with technology to enhance human interaction and maximize learning opportunities to supply young mothers and fathers with the resources, information, and support they need to thrive.
